Growing up as a kid I have always had a desire to inspire and help others. I never thought it would start with inspiring myself. As a kid I started off overweight and became fairly skinny as a teenager weighing in at 130 pounds at 17 years old. But, having a fairly high body fat with no visible abs and a gut, I soon realized that I was in for a long ride being “skinny fat”. During this time I suffered from depression, with a ton of insecurities and hatred for myself. Junior year of high school I decided to turn my life around for the better by getting a gym membership and little did I know this was the start to a new chapter of my life. Before I knew it I was weighting in at 170 pounds at the end of my senior year.
I'm no newbie when it comes to the fitness industry. With over 5 years of training experience, I have put in research and experimented from eating healthy to having effective workouts and the effect supplements have on my workouts. I have learned to not only strengthen the body but the mind as well. Knowledge was the key to turning my life around in order to strengthen the body the mind has to be as strong too.
